"Great, I think this line up is fantastic and a good reason for the synthpop lovers around paris to visit the L'espace B in june"
(Mathias from Minerve)
"After all these years without European acts performing in Paris, it's an honour to invite those 2 bands. This event wil make you discover different styles of Electronic Pop music. Time to show there's an audiance in France for this music !"
(ZeN from Waiting For Words)
It´s a honour for us to play in such a beautiful city, It´s very dificult for a spanish band to make synth music in our country, so we have to play outside Spain to capture fans, it´s incredible that in Spain you have to pay for playing in some clubs, just because nobody believe in synth pop music. We will enjoy this, come on and join us in PARIS!!!"

That's great news yeah... but I don't think we can make a general rule for the frequency of producing albums.
Some bands are more comfortable with one album every 2.3 or 4 years.. it's not a problem as long as it's good.
And on top of that, it also depends on the activity of a band (Tour), the lenght of promotion - some albums take more time than other to reach the media...
Anyway, any new material from D/V is always good news !

Hi,
First post here
I'm ZeN from the french electro band WAITING FOR WORDS and also host a webradio show entitled Cyberspace [I've intervewed De/Vision for the release of Subkutan and D/V is the 8th Artist the most broadcast of the show
)
So... fav artists ? Think that the Cyberspace top artists speaks by itself : http://cyberspace.alloforum.com/sujet-16...0-1-2803-1.html
So to name a few :
Depeche Mode - What to say that has not been said already ? Great band, tunes, look, concerts...
Simple Minds - Heroic New Wave. Inventive, Charismatic, great hymns & live performers
Camouflage - the first band who made me realise there was something else than DM in the electronic music ! Unfortunately, don't have the succes deserved
Tears For Fears - One of my fav album of all time at their credits (Songs From The Big Chair), perfect voices, great songs although I don't totally buy into the Beattles Sound develloped in their latest album
Trisomie 21 (aka T21) : cult french band. Mix of Cold wave & electronic, crap voice but great atmosphere & sound
Indochine : Cult New Wave rock french band. One of the rare French Band sounding as good as international acts
A-Ha : one of the most beautiful voice of pop. Especially like the sound develloped since the 90's
Duran Duran : Propbably the most inconsistent band in the world LOL Capable of the worst as the best... Particulary like the Arcadia side project
U2 : these guys just Rocks !
I Am X : one of the rare recent act that just kicked me !
Foretaste : some friends of mine. Great electro synthpop duet with a terrific debut album and also very talented to cover or remix other artists
Moby : Like the guy, the talent, the experimentations
Mesh : Enjoyed their past album and the latest one is really awesome
Cure : that goes with the 80's package isn't it ? Especially appreciate them since The Top. Love their darkest and mid tempoed track
George Michael : sounds odd in the list, but this guy just have the most beautiful voice of Pop Music
Kate Bush : Aerial & The Hounds Of Love are probably 2 of the most beautiful album ever released
I could go on like this for pages (And One, Ultraviolet, Peter Gabriel, Radiohead..)
I'm basically a music maniac (2000 CDs, 350 Go of mp3, 100s of DVDs) LOL
